Dear colleagues,
I am currently preparing a project about contracts concerning train operators' access to railroad track. I imagine that such contracts exist in all countries that have introduced free competition on their railroads.
Does anybody know whether there is any academic study in any country of such contracts, and of the essential questions that need to be regulated in them? I am particularly concerned about the actual room for freedom of contract in such settings, as I imagine that there are so many public regulations and concerns that the very term "contract" needs to be used with a pinch of salt.
Best wishes
Jakob
